School History

Roosevelt Elementary School, located in North Houston, has proudly served its community since it first opened its doors in 1929. With nearly a century of history, Roosevelt has been a cornerstone of education in the area, deeply rooted in a strong sense of community and tradition. In 2011, the campus underwent major renovations to modernize facilities and create a more dynamic learning environment while still honoring its legacy. Today, Roosevelt continues to grow and thrive, guided by its commitment to academic excellence and community connection for more than 400 scholars.
